The highest I can get is x and that doesn't work for my monitor. I have the power source plugged in and tried various cables and sources. I am not sure what to troubleshoot next with this product. Are there defective units that doesn't support the maximum resolution? Excellent working. As a dvi-d only has a digital output, a lot of the converters confuse you with dvi-i and the other just don't work. This one converts the signal well and you get a crisp image. I am running a KVM switch across two computers and two monitors and this product fits in well.

Can be easily fixed by changing a color slider in Nvidia Control Panel and then hitting cancel. Don't ask me why this works, it just does. You can always fix it though with the trick I mentioned. Clear image and looks just like it did with regular vga. Pros: Works very well. Drives my 50ft cables just fine. My monitor came with an option called Overdrive which was causing the problem. When I get more money, I'm going to buy a monitor without the Overdrive setting which I think is useless. After a couple weeks, this device was not able to maintain a stable connection. While watching any video, within a half hour to an hour, the screen would go blank for a few seconds and Windows would play the "device disconnected" sound.
