Which is exactly why your advisor, and now you, should not be passing along that kind of stuff. You can think I am rude all you want, and honestly I don't care. But the truth is, you shouldn't play "telephone". I personally do not pass on information that I do not know to be true. It is considered gossip, and what you heard is a rumor, not a fact.
People take information like that seriously, and you would too if you have heard it about, let's say UW I am fully aware that you had good intentions, but that does not excuse the obligation to review your facts first.

Nursing students are admitted to the clinical nursing courses consistent with the established admission criteria and selection process.
Application packets for the Nursing Program are retrieved electronically through CastleBranch in August and December and must be returned to the same location by the third Friday in January and the third Friday in September deadlines respectively to be logged upon receipt.
